Please help fundraise to save the farm
So, most of you I think know by now that Bailey has led a movement to sell the farm. She let me know right before Liam's birthday and then did nothing to wish Liam a happy birthday. We were devastated to say the least. Liam has started a Go Fund Me campaign to try to raise one million dollars to save the farm and fix it up and make our dreams for the farm come true! He's also interested in having a school and or orphanage at the farm. I also feel that God may be calling me to honor Omi and God by caring for orphans at the farm. Since Omi was adopted from an orphanage it would be extra special. If I had the resources to provide for orphans I would adopt as many as possible and Liam said he wants more than 100 brothers and sisters! So we are praying, and staying hopeful. If you would like to join our efforts to fundraise the money we need to buy Teal, John and Bailey out of the farm and fix up the farm, then please join our fundraising efforts. You can share Liam's fundraising campaign that is posted on his wall, or reach out to me via text or voice-call at 214-500-6733 to collaborate and make plans.
Liam and I go to the farm periodically. We are working on cleaning it up and have planted some seeds, fished, grilled food, Liam fixed some of the machinery and tools, and our friend Anna (16) visited the farm with us too.
Right now we have electricity as I paid 500$ to get the electricity on and running. I realized after talking to the water company that Bailey didn't actually pay the water bill like she told me she did, and she has called the water company and locked the account. We aren't able to get the water on right now and need to do some plumbing work, so if you know anyone that is skilled in plumbing and would like to help, let me know. We had a plumber out to fix two leaks but he made a mistake and caused another leak. So now we have a total of 3 leaks that we need to repair. Bonham State Park is nearby so Liam and I shower there and bring gallons of water when we go to the farm. It's not optimal, but it's doable. It's camping style.
I am working on adding more information to Liam's Go Fund Me campaign, and pictures, and videos. If you want to add anything to it, let me know! Another fundraising idea we have is that we can make t-shirts too, that say Save The Farm. If you want to write about or make a video about the farm, and how your Omi wanted it to go to all the grandchildren, and your hopes about the farm, etc, let me know and I can add it to the Go Fund Me campaign. I love y'all!!! Hopefully we can all gather at the farm together this summer vacation.
